Discovery
Site, load profile, schedule, budget. We listen first and identify the binding constraints before scoping anything. No premature commitments, no theatrical posturing — just an honest assessment of what we're dealing with.
Civil. Mechanical. Electrical. Self-performed under a single EPC schedule, with sponsor-grade documentation and commissioning that holds up under lender review.
BCGC plugs in across the project lifecycle — from a discrete engineering study to a full turnkey EPC delivery. Here's what's in scope for each engagement model.

Site, load profile, schedule, budget. We listen first and identify the binding constraints before scoping anything. No premature commitments, no theatrical posturing — just an honest assessment of what we're dealing with.
Design-build study or technical advisory engagement that gives you a sponsor-ready basis-of-design, single-line diagrams, thermal/electrical load analysis, and a credible cost & schedule. Deliverable: a package you can put in front of capital.
Single-prime EPC scope. One schedule, one risk owner, one accountable team for civil, mechanical, and electrical execution. Contract terms aligned with sponsor and lender expectations.
Self-perform across trades. Sponsor-grade documentation flows in real time. Punch list managed before commissioning, not after. Weekly schedule updates, transparent risk surfacing.
Commissioned to nameplate, performance validated against the BOD, handed off with the full close-out package (as-builts, O&M manuals, warranty docs). Optional long-term O&M partnership for sites we deliver.
Yes. BCGC is headquartered in Texas with deep regional execution capacity, but we deliver across the United States. For sites outside Texas, we typically scope mobilization and any regional sub-trade coordination during the engineering study.
We're sized for MW-class power-dense work. Sub-megawatt projects are usually not a fit for our self-perform model, but we'll point you toward someone better suited if that's the case. Engineering studies and Owner's Rep engagements have no minimum.
Long-lead items (transformers, switchgear, mechanical equipment) are identified and ordered during the engineering study or early in the EPC schedule. Procurement strategy is documented in the BOD package; sponsors see the full long-lead schedule from day one.
Basis-of-design, single-line electrical diagrams, mechanical schematics, thermal performance modeling, commissioning plans, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and warranty paperwork — all packaged in the format lenders and sponsors actually need to underwrite and refinance.
Yes. If you have an EOR in place, we'll coordinate scope boundaries clearly at contracting. Many of our sponsors prefer this; some prefer us to provide engineering as part of the EPC scope. Both work.
Engineering studies and Owner's Rep work are typically fixed-fee. EPC contracts are scoped against the BOD — usually lump-sum or GMP depending on sponsor preference. We don't hide change orders; assumptions and exclusions are spelled out in the contract.
Greenfield, retrofit, advisory, or owner's rep — bring us your scope and we'll come back with a candid path forward.
